October 2nd - Happy Birthday, Amy!

Happy Birthday to my older sister, Amy!

I know I'm late on this post, but I didn't have internet access this weekend....was gone for a lot of it! I had a fun time with friends for my birthday and camping!

Had a fun night on Friday night, and struggled through to make it for camping for the rest of the weekend! We went camping in a small town about 10 minutes from my town....go figure! Haha, it was nice since this was an AJET organized event. I did not have to travel far to make it to this event! It was great because I never even knew that the camping grounds existed right in my own backyard! It was good times and the scenery was beautiful!

We had grilled out meat and a lot of other vegetables for dinner. Then we had a campfire with s'mores!!! Woo wooo! I looove s'mores and can always go for s'moooorree! hahaha...anyway, there were other campers that were Japanese. We had a fun time mingling with them as well showing them how to make s'mores....was the first time for most that weren't from America.

It also turned into a pretty crazy campfire when the Japanese guys decided to take on the big white guy in our group in an arm wrestling match. They thought it would be a good idea to challenge him in various strength activities....yeah, that's right....the Japanese guys didn't want to stop at arm wrestling. There was also sumo wrestling. Haha, a few intense rounds of that and I think those guys had quite a workout! Although it was a short time camping, the weather turned out to be absolutely beautiful! It had been raining in Chiba/Tokyo for the past week with terrible storms and cold weather. The night we camped out it was beautiful, comfortable, and zero wind. It was perfect for hanging out in the woods and overall great conditions!

I had a fun time, but am definitely tired and worn out! I'll update more with what's been going on later!
